Which media are these valves compatible with, and how do I specify elastomers?

Match body and seals to your fluid: brass or stainless bodies with NBR (oils/air), EPDM (water, some steam), FKM (fuels/solvents), or PTFE seats for aggressive media. For low ΔP, consider direct-lift for your Parker Skinner Valves; for clean liquids/gases, pilot-operated works well. We’ve seen these valves log 10 million cycles without performance issues.

What’s the typical lead-time and can you expedite?

In-stock Skinner valves usually ship within 24-48 hours. Non-stock or alternate coils/materials often run a little longer, and very special orders can take several weeks. Hazardous-location operators are labeled by class/division/group (e.g. Class I, Div 1 gases). NEMA 7/9 covers explosion-proof enclosures; NEMA 4X is for corrosion/washdown – not explosion containment. We supply compliant operators (NEC/CSA).
